Bicycle - Silver Fox Viper mountain bike
Nature of dispute / problem:
Allegation made that the front wheel of the bike suddenly collapsed and as a consequence the rider was thrown over the handlebars and suffered serious injury.
Work completed:
- Examined the bike thoroughly, particulary the running components and braking
- Examined the buckled front wheel in detail
- Checked tension in spokes and assessed likely cause of the sudden failure
- Work reported in written form for the Court.
