Volvo L150C Front loading shovel - hose burst
Nature of dispute / problem:
Main front loading arm hydraulic hose bust suddenly and unexpectedly and as a result the loaded shovel lowered very rapidly resulting in injury to the operator.
Work completed included:
- Examined the vehicle and hydraulic hose in question.
- Examined in detail the location and nature of the rupture.
- Reviewed the vehicle inspection and maintenance records.
- Work reported in written form for the Court.
